Monkey Farts

I visit a lot of blogs. And a lot of blogs have contests and giveaways, and usually the way to enter is to write a post on your own blog about the contest, and/or put a button or a blinkie on your site to promote them, or put a link on your blog back to them, yada, yada. Although often I'd like to enter these contests, this blog could easily turn into Carole's Thoughtful Spot of Sites to Go Enter Contests, so I use self control and I don't do it. Except this time. This woman from a blog I visit has started a candle shop - Happy Thoughts Candles - and she's having a contest to promote her candles. By blogging about it here, I get one entry. The winner gets a candle of their choice and one of the scents is "Monkey Farts". And surprisingly, those candles are pink. (Silly me, I would've thought they'd have been yellow from all those bananas they eat.) I'm so intrigued. Can you imagine someone walks into your house and says, "Oh it smells so nice in here! What kind of candle are you burning?" Wouldn't it be great to be able to say, "Oh thank you, it's Monkey Farts!"

If don't win, I may have to break down and buy one!

And, NO - I haven't turned on the A/C yet! Me and DH and DD are all sitting in the livingroom under the ceiling fan, not moving. In fact, DH is trying to stay as cool as possible, and so as to not make an unnecessary movements, he's forced himself to take a nap. What a trooper!
