DD had me throw a tape in the machine to tape it, so she was watching it again Saturday morning. I went and looked and the DVD isn't out until Aug. 19, but the CD is already available. I threw a link up to the CD at Amazon; I already ordered it. I thought the songs were pretty good and a wide variety of styles. Now that Camp Rock has finally debuted, I guess Disney will be inundating us with the Cheetah Girls "One World" promos for the rest of the summer. It will actually be a pretty good "movie" summer though for DD - we are also eagerly awaiting the American Girl "Kit" movie, and Walle, the new Pixar movie, is coming out within the week. Haven't seen Kung Fu Panda, but we are lucky enough to have not one, but TWO drive-in theaters to choose from, and that might be a good one to catch there this summer.
(If you're sitting there grimacing that I, a grown woman, watch all this "tween" stuff and enjoy it, let me tell ya, the appreciation for it comes after years of being subjected to watching Dora the Explorer, Teletubbies and Barney. After that, anything would seem good.)

My Diva is 10 and we watched it over and over again, it was cute.
ReplyDeleteI've got a 5 year old who's going on 20. We watched it. It's DVR'd so we've watched it SEVERAL times.
