Tote bags, tote bags, tote bags!

(My uncle passed away yesterday and I wasn't in any frame of mind to come up with one of my usual "profound and witty" posts.... so that's why no post yesterday...)

You know how some women have a "thing" for shoes and they have a million pairs? I have a thing for tote bags. I just love tote bags! In fact my favorite tote bag is one that I use as a purse. I got it in Bird-in-Hand, PA at Kitchen Kettle Village at a place called Cloverfields a couple of years ago. It's the PERFECT size and has a zippered top. I have to get like at least 2 more next time we're there because I can never find any in my travels that I like as much as the one I got there.

But that doesn't stop me from trying!

I'm always attracted to tote bags when I see them. In fact my latest acquisition is a tote bag that I bought from a fundraiser from our local library. It's really nice and it even has a little pocket for your library card, how great is that?? I just can't resist a good tote bag!!

You know what is the WORST place for someone like me with a tote bag addiction - Etsy! Oh bad!

DH has a "shot glass" addiction. We have a shot glass from every place we've ever been. Really. He even buys them at rest stops if he sees a good one. And people who know of his "addiction" bring him back shot glasses from where THEY'VE been. You can imagine we have a LOT of shot glasses. From a LOT of places!

What's your addiction? Shoes? Shot glasses? Tote bags?

  1. Great question. Hmm... I'd have to say... blogs, books, and pillows. I love pillows! I need more!

  4. Oh, I'm sorry to hear about your uncle...

    Addiction?
(don't laugh, especially if you see my etsy, because looking at that, you'd probably never guess what I can't stop collecting...)
    Rocks.
Little coin purse sized ones, big grapefruit sized ones, odd-shaped ones, rough and mossy ones, cool and smooth ones... my favorite looks like a piece of granite that looks partly coated with lava. Or maybe it's got fossils in it. I'm not sure.
I moved two boxes of rocks to Oregon when we moved from Minnesota. I lied to my hubby and said they were books.

I read each and every comment, and though I don't always get a chance to respond, I enjoy reading (and pondering) what you have to say. Thanks for your 2 cents! :-)
