Oh my head hurts!
Too much blog coding that I don't really understand!
But I did it!
If you scroll down and look in the left sidebar you'll see the "Grab This Button".
Somehow, I don't know how, I managed to follow the directions to make that, along with the html scrolling box.
As London Tipton would say, (which you would know if you have a tween who watches the Suite Life of Zack and Cody):
YAY ME, YAY ME!!!
*happy clapping*
The end.
I see it - that's great! (We've been wondering how to do that, too.)
ReplyDeleteLux - I found how to do it here: http://tips-for-new-bloggers.blogspot.com/2007/04/hyperlinks-and-image-links-ii.html
ReplyDeleteIf you scroll down a bit hopefully you'll see where the instructions are - the part I used starts right after where it says, "Putting it together, this code:" I basically took the html and replaced the links and titles with my own. I also had to change the width and height values to 125. Further down is where the instructions are for the scroll box. Again, I used their html and replaced the links and whatnot with my own info.
I hope that helps!
I looked but i don't see any button like you described. Also, the fon't color on your comments that saus "post a comment" and also the one that gives the date of the post is almost invisible on my browser.
ReplyDeleteawesome! It's pretty easy, huh?
ReplyDeletePhotobucket allows for you to add effects. That's how I made the one for my new blog.
But the first one I made was in Paint.
It looks great...off to add it to my page!
WTG YOU!!! I'm glad you posted how you learned cause i've been trying to figure it out too! Now I can do it as well. I'll add yours here shortly.
ReplyDeleteTurnip: Hey thanks for alerting me - one other person awhile ago commented about the color hardly showing but I couldn't figure out where they were talking about - however, I think I found it and fixed it - if you have a moment to come look, let me know if it's better now... Also, the button is there but you probably missed it because you were looking for something more amazing. It's under the Pay Per Post button on the left. I know, I'm totally lame for being excited I made a button, but, well, I was excited I figured out how to do it, what can I say? Thank you for your constructive comments, I really appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteJamie: Wow, thanks for taking my button!! You made my big headache all worth it - heh! I'll go get your button too, thanks!
Nessa: Thanks girl! Hey, if *I* can do it, YOU can totally do it! And when you do, I'll come get your button too, thanks for the pat on the back! :-D
