And then, glistening in the sun, I see this:
See that line? You know what that is?It's a slime trail. From a slug.
I'm sorry, I try to be a good nature-appreciator but,
THAT'S JUST GROSS!!!
The end.
P.S. I know, I know, I still have to recreate that post I lost. I will. I promise. I just didn't feel like it. Again. Wah!
I am guilty of liking just about every living thing, and my son seems to be the same and is fascinated by the creepy crawlies that live around us. His most recent discoveries are spiders and bats, and he gets so excited to watch them...especially when Mommy gives him close up views of the safe ones on her hands...spiders, not bats...catching bats I leave to the experts...but it's fun to watch them fly around eating mosquitos! LOL :) Yup, he's my son!

Pretty cool stuff. :)
Yeah, I hate slugs. They leave my hostas looking like spaghetti.
ReplyDeleteSorry to read of your computer crash/post loss. I think most of us in the bloggy world can empathize most heartily.
I have a pending award and you as a pending recipient... I have to muster the energy to post it, though! Award ceremonies take so much out of me! lol
You know what's worse than walking down your sunny walkway and seeing a slug trail? It's going out at night barefooted and actually stepping on one, talk about yuck.
