I Admit it, We Were A Pain in the Butt

(This is NOT a paid post.)

When we bought our Adirondack property, I admit, at times, we must have driven our agent cah-RAZY!  We didn't mean to.  We just wanted to take our time and make sure we had all the information to make a smart decision.  (Sounds reasonable, doesn't it?)  :-P

Well, if you are ever in the market for real estate in Lake George, or Bolton Landing or the Adirondack park, you could not possibly find a better agent than the agent we had - Rachel Zuckerman.

I'm telling you, besides putting up with us (which is an amazing talent in itself), this woman knows every nook and cranny of that area.  When she took us out to look at properties, not only did she know all about the real estate itself, but she could spout off the history of the area, interesting tidbits about the town or village, and I think she personally knows half the people up there too!  And, after a long day of looking at properties, she can tell you the best place to grab a bite to eat, or stay.  Bonus!

One of the times we went up to look at property it was right around our anniversary, and not only did she give us a GREAT suggestion of where to eat, she gave us the phone number from her cell phone, the name of the person to ask for to make a reservation, and she even told us to ask for a seat by the windows that overlook a beautiful rushing river!  (If you're curious, here's where she sent us: The Grist Mill, it was great!)

Here's a link to her profile and her page at Coldwell Banker - Rachel Zuckerman, Realtor, Adirondack and Lake George Property.  Even if you're just curious you can do a search in the left hand column to see what kind of properties are available.  Don't say I didn't warn you though - it's beautiful up there!  :-)

And of course she's everything you want a realtor to be - honest, conscientious, knowledgeable, professional yet friendly and easy to talk to.  We are SO thankful to have found her - buying or selling real estate can be stressful enough as it is, she made it much less painful.

So if all my talk about the Adirondacks is making you want to take off for the mountains, get in touch with Rachel Zuckerman and she'll find you a good spot!  :-D

My name is Carole, and I approve this message.
(Sorry, I know the elections are over! :-)

The end.

  2. Glad to hear that! I work as the director of media relations for the Arkansas Realtors Association, and we always love it when someone hires a Realtor and has a positive experience to report.

  3. It's so heartening to hear GOOD agent stories. I used to be on the recieving end of phone calls where I had to deliver bad news to people and so often the first thing out of their mouths was "But my Real Estate Agent said..."

Glad you found someone who actually cares about the end result beyond the money. And your property is GOREGEOUS. The Adirondacks are so cute! (said by the gal with the Rockies in her back yard). No, I tease. It really is a gorgeous place.

I read each and every comment, and though I don't always get a chance to respond, I enjoy reading (and pondering) what you have to say. Thanks for your 2 cents! :-)
