Pooh's Thoughtful Spot is located halfway between Pooh's house and Piglet's original house. It is protected from the wind and is a good spot for "deciding what to do today". This spot right here is my "thoughtful spot".

My Invention

Because I'm a frugal sort of gal, today when I discovered I was in need of an item that I did not have, instead of running to the store and buying it, I went into my secret lab and invented this:

Whoever can guess what I used this for, and comes up with the best name for my new invention gets link love and added to my blogroll* until the end of the year (or longer, I'm forgetful).  Or if you don't have a website you can just have fame and glory.  Get your guess in by 9am Friday morning and keep your guesses clean...

The end.

*Link must be family friendly.

It looks like something I would use to get the dust webs from high places so I would call it a Web Wipe. LOL

Get those cobwebs, baby!

At least, that's what I have done... I've wrapped a broom with a rag to do it. Yours looks much neater and lighter. Got a patent? ;)

I wonder if you clean your fan or chandelier or tops of kitchen cabinets or just your window blinds. O.k., my mind is exhausted now :o)

It looks like a duster to me also. I know there is no voting on a name but if there was I'd vote for Mary's suggestion, web wipe.

I'm calling it the Web Whacker! If it's for cleaning those hard-to-reach bits of cobwebishness.

If it's for cleaning under the fridge, I'll call it the Fridge Funk Fighter.

If it's for lighting on fire and holding it in one hand while you hold your pitchfork in the other as you march on Washington, I'll call it Measured Madness

Uh...how many guesses do I get?

Yep, it's a Web-wiper. I do like the fact that yours measures the distance you are reaching with it.

I have to make something similar to wash the inside of my car windshield at the bottom, where it's so angled and far away I literally can't reach it. Would your invention work for that?

Very creative. In there hard times, we have to become resourceful!

How about a flyswatter that cleans up bugs while it kills them. You also don't have to use it once and throw it out since it will have yucky bug guts on it.

You can call is Smoosh.

My guess was for cobwebs as well.

The Dust & Measure! Accomplish 2 tasks with just 1 tool!

I can't quite tell if that is a flat yard stick (it looks 3 dimensional to me) but if it IS a flat yard stick it looks like it might be quite handy for cleaning window blinds...

It's called a "thrifter" and it's a knock off of stupidly expensive swifters. good job!

I think it's for reaching up and getting all the cobwebs out of corners and such, though where the poor cobs will go is anybody's guess... Hmmm.... Ha ha ha, aren't women inventive!?

Blessings to you dearheart,

Maitri

I say it is a dust buster for cleaning cob webs ect
or you just made it to see how many people would comment in that case a people whacker

I personally would use it for cleaning out those nooks and crannies that nothing else reaches behind the stove and fridge and corners I can't reach where pet hair gets to. A pet hair trapper of course you can't use their invention stuck on a yard stick.

Dusting your air vents? I used to do that too with those swiffers!

If it's for men, I'd say it is a 'Webinator'.

If it's for women, I'd say it is a 'Foof Away'.

I'm guessing to get cobwebs/dust webs from the ceiling and other high places.
For cleaning drains...after I remove the P-trap, I take a paper towel and wrap it around an old chop stick and push it through the tailpiece. It works great and cleans out all the soap scum. I know, off topic, but it kind of reminded me of that as well, except on a bigger scale.

Hmmm.... I would use that for reaching the high corners of room,.. walls/ceiling corners,.. and getting rid of dust and cobwebs. I'd call it "Handy Dandy Duster Buster"... haha....
