Run! Run!

I just saw a giant turkey run across our backyard.  I think he knows Thanksgiving is near!  :-)

The end.

  1. LOL! That reminds me of this poem we saw in a kid's magazine several years ago..

Gobble, Gobble Turkey Run if you can.
Or someone will catch you and put you in a pan.

It unseasonably warm here (Illinois) and it doesn't feel like Nov!

  4. Carole,
I have never seen a wild turkey run anywhere, actually I have never seen a live turkey period to my knowledge except on TV. Actually I would perfer not to all things considered with Thanksgiving coming. I wish I could say I was a vegan, but sadly I'm not even though the thought has crossed my mind numerous times. No I wont go into the reasons because you already know them and I watched Grey's Anatomy with the hogs and it broke my heart...bummer.

  5. LOL!!! My dad used to work in a prison that was listed by the County it was in, it was in such a small place. Apparently, it was where all the cool wild turkeys hung out, lol.

Last year, we went to the MN Zoo for the Halloween activities. I was taking pics of ds and noticed a bunch of turkeys in the background.

Yeah, the wild turkeys moved into the Zoo. BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Smart turkeys!!

I read each and every comment, and though I don't always get a chance to respond, I enjoy reading (and pondering) what you have to say. Thanks for your 2 cents! :-)
