This is What I Keep Telling Myself...

When my family comes over for Thanksgiving, if they find any dirty spots I missed in my cleaning frenzy, they will still love me.  I'm sure of it.

The end.

  1. I would certainly never EVER have noticed the dirt you say was on the stairs...or anywhere else. I come for the good company...and of course I love you no matter what...but I always think your house looks lovely! :)
Right now our place is ridiculously messy because we're all sick, I haven't slept in days, and DH has been working a lot of overtime. More than 45 minutes of sleep at any one time would be heaven...the house work will be waiting for me when the plague is finally done with our home. Thank God nobody is coming over anytime soon. LOL

  2. I clean all the time and still never looks good enough. I have OCD, says my husband. Maybe he is right but this year I do not care. Have a great Thanksgiving!

  3. This year I'm lucky b/c no one will be coming over-it's a perk of living far away from them. :)

    Happy Thanksgiving Carole.

  4. I'm sure love doesn't depend on a clean house! If so I would be very lonely indeed.

But what is in the picture? Is it a contraption to dust the ceiling?

  5. No one notices the dirty spots but you! It's a fact. MY family thinks my house is sparkling clean and I live with 6 other people- it's actually a sty.

  6. I remember when I was first married, I thought everyone was judging me on how clean I kept the house ...
Now after 28 years of marriage I don't really care if anybody judges me on that - and I'd much rather spend time with those I care about, than having floors they could eat off of :-)

  7. Carole, you could have heaps of trash everywhere, and you'd still be as wonderfully lovable. :D

    Happy Thanksgiving!

I read each and every comment, and though I don't always get a chance to respond, I enjoy reading (and pondering) what you have to say. Thanks for your 2 cents! :-)
