(Much thanks to Tedder of Tedder's Random Thoughts for sharing this link in the previous posts' comments.)
If you're interested in what the city looks like from the "Top of the Rock" (the top of the GE building in Rockfeller Center),
you can relive our visit from back in April here.
The end.

Wow, very cool! I love random facts:). There's a cool story about the tree in Rice Park, St Paul this year too. I should do a post on that one before the year's up, lol. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to go to the "Top" with you... I have been to the Rainbow Room many years ago and had to do a double check of facts,... yepper, the Top is five more floors higher! You are really feeding my need to get back to the city for a visit. Thanks for the tour!
ReplyDeleteDarnit, see now I also knew it's a terminal. Excuse me, I'm still on the previous post.
ReplyDeleteThat is nice that they hand out postcards. Question: what happens if one of the 30,000 lights go out, do they all go out??
ReplyDeleteI love this tree! How much time did it take for people to decorate it?
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely post. I have always wanted to see the tree at the Rockefeller Center in NY. Lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me live vicariously through your wonderful holiday travels.

PS: Did you get to wave at Matt and Al while passing by the Today Show set? Have always wanted to do that too! :)
Thank you for the thoughts and prayers for Peanut, that really means so much to me. God bless and Happy Holidays to you and your family.

Hi Carole,
ReplyDeleteI wish you Yuletide Joy and A Blessed New Year together with your family.
Happy Holidays!
I had always thought they left the lights on all the time, I didn't realize they turned them off every night. Thanks for sharing these facts!
