"Man Signs of Spring"

My last posts were about what *I* viewed as "signs of spring" - you know, flowers and stuff... but DH showed me his "Man Signs of Spring"....

The end.

  1. To each his own,... I say. Exchange the corona for a glass of wine and i'll be right there!

  2. That is very definitely a man sign of spring. I'd be happy with a nice garden, a springy looking table with spring looking food on it - colorful pasta salad, whatever.

  3. Ha ha ha... That is definitely "man" signs of spring. :)
It actually got up to 55 degrees here today, and I think my hubby is itching to fire up the grill - even though there is still a bit of snow on the ground. :)

  5. Har! And I'd like to offer up that the equivalent female sign of spring is grilling with wine.

  6. That's beautiful! Makes me want to cry.

That pretty well sums up a manly attitude toward spring, doesn't it. I figure I need to fire up the old grill, get some Miller and burn some ribs...

  7. I so love to smell the grill and that is my spring and summer thing too along with the flowers and the smell of fresh mowed grass.

  8. This is so true! We grilled for the first time a few days ago! Nice for the husband to cook a meal without prompting!

  9. :o)
That one would totally work for my hubby, too. Except he would probably have a Miller Lite in his hand ;o)

  10. A very happy and very belated birthday to you! We have all been so sick. I know you understand! My son got sick, then my husband, then me, then my daughter...and we're still all sick. I took my husband to the doctor today finally. My son's kiddie birthday party isn't going to be until May because of it, and you know his birthday was the same as yours. I'm so so so sorry I didn't wish you a happy birthday on Monday!!!! But HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. I'm actually with him on this one-though it reminds me more of summer...but spring has to come first, so why not? :)

I read each and every comment, and though I don't always get a chance to respond, I enjoy reading (and pondering) what you have to say. Thanks for your 2 cents! :-)
