Our one cat (the small gray one in the previous posts' picture, Basil) is 15 1/2 years old and, well, if you've ever had an old cat, you know how they get. We also have a younger, fat cat (Q-ee is the black and white gigantor cat in the previous post). At night when I feed them, I shut the old cat in the upstairs bathroom so she can eat in peace without Fatty McFatCat swooping in to eat HER dinner too. After about 15 min or so, I go let the old cat (Basil) out of the bathroom so she can be on her way. Only thing is, a couple of times now lately, if I don't let old kitty out fast enough, she has a little "accident", shall we say...
Ok, I'll be blunt, she poops on the rug. She's old, I'm sure she can't help it. So now I somehow have to
intuitively know how long to leave her in there so she can finish her dinner, but let her out
before she poops.
I hope when I get old I can make it to the bathroom after I eat dinner before *I* poop on the rug.
The end.

I read each and every comment, and though I don't always get a chance to respond, I enjoy reading (and pondering) what you have to say. Thanks for your 2 cents! :-)
