The Royal Wedding, Princess Beatrice and the Ugly Hat

I got up at the buttcrack of dawn today to watch the Royal Wedding and I am not ashamed to admit I LOVED EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF IT!!!!!

And I will say that I am SUPER annoyed with the grumbling of those who were not interested in the wedding.  For Pete's sake, with all the horrible tragedies that have happened lately, there was actually something joyful and HAPPY to watch that was happening in the world today, can ya NOT poop on my parade, PLEASE??  After today all the hoopla will be over and we can get back to all the depressing news in the world!  SHEESH!

I thought Princess Catherine looked stunning - I LOVED her dress!!  I can't even imagine the primping and preparing she must have gone through - manicure, pedicure, facial, blackhead removal, the works!  I thought the Queen looked lovely too in her very cheerful yellow outfit.  Everyone was smiling and just looked so happy, I'm glad I got up and watched it.  A very beautiful and happy event.

The only person, in my opinion, who did not look fabulous, was Princess Beatrice.  She's Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's daughter.  I can't believe what a stupid, ugly hat she wore.  It's so bad I can only wonder if she wore something this ridiculous and attention getting in response to the fact that her mother was not invited.

And her makeup - was she going for the "undead" look made so popular by Twilight, or what???

Look - she couldn't even sit up straight in the car because of her ridiculous, dumb hat:

Did you watch the wedding?  What did you think?
And don't even tell me you like Princess Beatrice's ugly hat!  LOL...

The end.

P.S.  You're not going to believe this - there's a FACEBOOK PAGE for the hat!  --->  Princess Beatrice's Ridiculous Royal Wedding Hat Facebook Page

  1. Perhaps as an architectural element, or a frame? No not even that. It's also a little like a targeting device, isn't it. Reminds me of when people hold up their hand & make the loser sign in front of their head. It disturbs me. Do you think it made any babies cry? lol

  2. Oh my gosh! I watched the Youtube highlights because I forgot to get up early to watch live... LOL I thought it was beautiful! But that hat... I hadn't seen this before. Woah, what was she thinking?!!!!! That is horrendous! LOL

  3. I didn't watch the Royal wedding, mainly because I don't get much Television and I don't watch much of it either (not sure if I could have watched it online?). But I did see a small clip that someone posted on the web. I thought Princess Catherine looked absolutely gorgeous! I did not get a chance to see much, so I missed
Princess Beatrice's hat -- OH MY WORD! That is... well, dreadful! You are absolutely right in your comments on that! Haha! :)

  4. I googled "Sarah Ferguson's daughters' stupid hats" and it took me right to your site. Lots of those hats (not the Queen's, of course) were totally dopey, but that bizarre punctuation mark of a headgear that girl wore was over-the-top hideous!

  5. Hi there... I too googled ugly hats from the Royal Wedding and your blog popped up. My goodness that hat screamed pay attention to me. Poor girl, all that privilege yet no class. Money does not equate taste!

  6. I googled ugly hat just to see if others had thoughts about the princess' ridiculous hat. Obviously I wasn't alone in my judgement. It looked like a thrift store find. Something you'd purchase for a Halloween costume.

  7. Can you say "Cat in the Hat" by Dr Seuss!! WOW

  8. We here in UK had a day's holiday to watch the wedding which was absolutely lovely, I was totally glued to my TV.

I could have gone to be part of the cheering crowds but chose to stay home and soak it up in the comfort of my sofa!

Both Beatrice and her sister looked awful.. but that head "thing" was just the most ridiculous ever..

They take after their mother with no dress sense whatsoever!

  9. Really sad to see someone so privilaged be an 'Attention Whore' when the focus should have been on the married couple.

  10. My two cents:

I read each and every comment, and though I don't always get a chance to respond, I enjoy reading (and pondering) what you have to say. Thanks for your 2 cents! :-)
