The fish were biting!
And here is *my* fishing gear! Yes, this was my Mother's Day present - a new fishing rod of my own, some lures and a fishing license! I only caught one fish, but the hours spent sitting on the pier with my feet dangling in the water, gazing at the lake were wonderfully relaxing.
Our daughter caught more fish than I did, and that was even with spending half her time swimming and rescuing our snagged lures, lol.

ReplyDeleteWe'll be up in July. I cannot cannot cannot wait. On another note, we also had KFC on Mother's Day with free cake. My mother was thrilled when we went to pick it up, "FREE cake??" she said. Her eyes were as big as saucers and I think I caught her drooling. Have a great time at your cabin.
