Hmmm.... I would use that for reaching the high corners of room,.. walls/ceiling corners,.. and getting rid of dust and cobwebs. I'd call it "Handy Dandy Duster Buster"... haha....

I'm guessing to get cobwebs/dust webs from the ceiling and other high places.
For cleaning drains...after I remove the P-trap, I take a paper towel and wrap it around an old chop stick and push it through the tailpiece. It works great and cleans out all the soap scum. I know, off topic, but it kind of reminded me of that as well, except on a bigger scale.

I personally would use it for cleaning out those nooks and crannies that nothing else reaches behind the stove and fridge and corners I can't reach where pet hair gets to. A pet hair trapper of course you can't use their invention stuck on a yard stick.
