One of my ancestors was born in a castle (but not to the king, BAH!) and another was born on a ship in the middle of the Atlantic. I discovered that my husband is descended from an admiral in the British Royal Navy who was knighted by King Charles II in 1675. We even found a portrait of him (the ancestor, not King Charles, lol) on the web. Of course my husband teased me that he has loftier ancestors than I do...argh! Just kidding, lol.

The DNA tests sound fascinating, don't they?
