It's not even the slightest bit tempting to me to eat...which is a good thing!<BR/><BR/>Empty Envelope - Yeah, I do like the name "Carole Kringle" - it sounds so festive and happy! Maybe that will be my fake name that I use when I become really famous so when I check into hotels they won't know it's me... :-D<BR/><BR/>Cedar - Yep, I'm serious about Weight Watchers, I'm joining tomorrow. I used to have my village on the mantle too, but now I have the happy problem that it doesn't fit anymore, so I've graduated to a table.<BR/><BR/>Kreations - I don't remember the brand of gingerbread house I usually make, but around here it's in all the supermarkets, just keep your eye out next year.<BR/><BR/>Mags - I nearly busted out laughing when I saw you visited - I knew you were a nice person, but you are REALLY SUPER SWEET to compliment my gingerbread house (that looks like it's from the slums) - for those of you who don't know Mags, she's a super talented gourmet chef - you should SEE the stuff SHE makes! Seriously - go here and scroll down: http://msmaggiemoo.blogspot.com/ or click on her Etsy shop on her site in the right sidebar.<BR/><BR/>Cindy - No I didn't have to cut up the tablecloth luckily, I made my "hokey" street, then sprinkled the fake snow all along the edges to well, cover the edges! And voila. :-) And as I mentioned, the gingerbread house from the store kit doesn't taste that good, so, no temptation there.<BR/><BR/>Karen - They sell fake snow to use with the village - I believe it's actually finely cut up plastic. It's not very expensive and it makes a nice effect. Plus you can sweep most of it up when you're done and reuse it.
