Mmmm, spiedies. I first encountered them as a teen, when I moved to the Southern Tier. Have you ever tried them at the General Clinton Canoe Regatta in Bainbridge? The whole town was intoxicated with the scent of grilling spiedies. It was SO GREAT. :D

Sounds good! I always think it's so funny that we can get addicted to something, and associate it with a certain place. It makes visiting so fun!

Cedar - Ah yes, we've had Lupo's spiedie sauce too, and we like it a lot also, though we like Salamida's the best. I don't think Lupo's is even available around here anyway. I'm lucky I can get any spiedie sauce this far out of Binghamton. I remember eating real Lupo's spiedie's at a Balloon Fest in Binghamton years ago. Not all of our times in Binghamton were good, but eating spiedies were good times! :-D

Love spiedie sauce,... my cousin lived in Binghamton NY for several years and introduced me to it. We favored Lupo's brand sauce rather than State Fair brand. Thanks for the memories!
